The Magnus Ehrnrooth foundation supports scientific research in mathematics, astronomy, physics, chemistry, and medical chemistry.
The Magnus Ehrnrooth Foundation awards annually grants for researchers in mathematics, astronomy, physics, chemistry, and medical chemistry. The foundation is one of the most significant supporters of research in these disciplines in Finland. Additionally, the foundation supports school education in mathematics and the exact sciences in primary and secondary schools by granting scholarships for further education to teachers in these subjects.

Magnus Ehrnrooth, Phd founded in 1963 the foundation bearing his name to support research in mathematics and the exact natural sciences in Finland. Today, the foundation awards grants totaling approximately two million euros annually.
