The application period for the 2025 grants is from October 15 to November 30, 2024. Applications are submitted through the foundation’s electronic grant system. Please carefully review the foundation’s application guidelines before writing your application.
Please note that the deadline for recommendations is the same, November 30, 2024, so make sure to request your recommendations in time. Merely providing the recommender’s name in the application is not sufficient, as the foundation will not contact the recommenders. The recommendation must be attached to the application, either by the applicant or the recommender. For further information, please see the details.
The Cotutelle grant in the scientific fields supported by the foundation is also available. The grant is announced as part of the Maupertuis cooperation between Finland and France. If you apply for such a grant, in addition to the standard application documents, the French cooperation partner must be indicated, and it must be confirmed that the French party can provide the necessary funding for the cooperation. The recipient of the Cotutelle grant must also, during the first year, apply for the right to pursue doctoral studies at the respective French university.
